Sanjay Dutt and his fellow inmates in Pune's Yerawada Central Jail will participate in a play, as part of a fundraiser, on September 26. The two-hour cultural programme, a yearly event organised by the jail authorities, will be held at a theatre in the city. The proceeds from it will be used for prisoners' welfare and better facilities in the prison.
Dutt will be among the 50 inmates who will participate in the play. And guess what, he will not only act in it, but is also going to perform to the super-famous song, Lungi Dance, from Chennai Express. Quite certainly, this will be the highlight of the evening. Other than the play, there will be dance performances and skits that will highlight the tradition of Maharashtra.
Coming back to Sanju's connection with Chennai Express, the actor, in a recent letter to a friend, had congratulated director Rohit Shetty for the stupendous success of the film.
