NEW DELHI: After demanding to know why N Srinivasan was still in charge of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), the Supreme Court on Friday ordered that even if he got re-elected as board president on Sunday, he would not take over till it adjudicated the petition against him.

Will make a comeback, Sreesanth says after being banned for life

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Despite the BCCIimposing him a life ban on spot-fixing charges in the IPL, Indian Test pacer S Sreesanth today said he still hopes to play for the country.

Asked about the life ban handed on him by the BCCI, Sreesanth said he was confident of making a comeback. "I will make a comeback and I have started training for that," he told a Malayalam television channel.
